Since1997

Originally established as a DJ Café and coffeeshop, Kashmir Lounge grew out of a need in Amsterdam’s Old West for a relaxed, welcoming place to meet friends, enjoy a drink, unwind and listen to great music.

From the beginning, the concept was simple: good music, a laid-back atmosphere and an open-minded crowd.

Kashmir Lounge was one of the Netherlands’ early DJ Café concepts, helping to establish a culture where music and hospitality naturally go hand in hand. In 2012, Kashmir Lounge was awarded No. 1 DJ Café in Amsterdam by DJ Mag.

Our unique atmosphere has also attracted filmmakers and musicians, with the venue serving as a location for various films and music videos.
