D Jah

With a true love for electronic and reggae music, D.Jah started Djing in 2000 by mixing Hardtechno vinyls in South of France. During his sound engineer studies he played on a radio show every week on «Radio Campus Toulouse» and explored the unlimited frontiers between Dub, Trip-Hop, Ambient, World, and Techno music. In 2007 he did a big round trip in India to learn playing Tabla and found a lot of magic tunes to spin in his DJ sets. When he came back, he swapped from vinyls to laptop and worked hard on DJ software to built his hown Dubstep style : A perfect mix of electronic and instrumental songs with original and broken rhythms. D.Jah music is a wonderful mystic experience : a deep and groovy trip into bass sounds. His most influence comes from pioneers of electronic music artists like : Bill Laswell, Carl Craig, Future Sound of London, Brian Eno, Amon Tobin, Plastikman, Rhythm and sound, 4hero, Burial, Karsh Kale, Shankar... He's now mixing in Amsterdam, making his way in Coffee shop scene to represent the French Dub colors. The sounds for the mind and the body : the Jah music
